At NorthPointe, the PEACE Plan is our model for responding to the brokenness in our families, our neighborhoods, our city, and our world. The PEACE Plan’s goal is for the church to “BE” the church – fulfilling the Great Commandment and the Great Commission.

“Jesus replied, ‘Love the Lord your God [WORSHIP] with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it, ‘Love your neighbor [SERVICE] as yourself.’”

Matthew 22:37-39 NIV

“Jesus came to them and said, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples [EVANGELISM] of all nations, baptizing them [FELLOWSHIP] in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them [DISCIPLESHIP] to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.’”
Matthew 28:18-20 NIV

Accomplishing these also fulfills the five purposes of our church.

The PEACE Plan is all about compassion, unity, selflessness, and service. We want to train, equip, and point people to embrace a lifestyle of serving every day. In small groups, in ministry teams, and in community outreach we’re growing together, establishing community together, and working in mission together. The PEACE Plan simply put, is ordinary people, empowered by God, doing what Jesus did, wherever they are.

The PEACE Plan offers you three progressive steps so you can “Get In, Get Strong, and Get Going”!

Get In

Come and See

See the need – check out the ministry or opportunity.

Get Strong

Come and Walk

Serve beside someone doing small tasks – experience the work and need.

Get Going

Come and Be

You’re all in! This is right where God wants you – sharing what you’ve got.
